The week of the terrible blizzard. The blizzard started Tuesday afternoon and by Wednesday morning we had received 13 inches of snow. Then the winds created white out conditions. School and work were cancelled and the state of Iowa pretty much shut down for the day! Yes, Paige is wearing a tank top while decorating Christmas cookies for Santa. She was wearing pink shorts with that, always wanting to wear tank tops even on minus wind chill days. We had a great time getting cookies ready for Santa and loved sampling to make sure they were just right. Paige cleaned her and Cash's room because she was sure Santa was watching that day.
Saturday the 12th we went to the annual Breakfast with Santa sponsored by the Nevada Jaycees. It was a good breakfast and the kids had fun meeting with Santa. Paige told him about her cleaning efforts mentioned above. Both kids shared with Santa their Christmas wish lists. Paige wants Zhu Zhu pets, Barbie the Veterinarian and Webkinz. Cash wants a four wheeler (don't think so) and Handy Manny tool bench. We will see how Santa does!
